Disclosure Regarding Collection and Use of Personal Information
Through DCN, End Users may enter personal information about themselves. This policy explains SOLUTIONEERING’s online information collection and use practices and the choices End Users can make about the way SOLUTIONEERING uses and shares such information. End Users are strongly encouraged to take the time to read and understand this policy so that they can understand how SOLUTIONEERING uses End User personal information.
REMEMBER: IF END USER MAKES USE OF DCN, REGISTERS WITH DCN, SUBMITS INFORMATION IN ANY WAY TO OR THROUGH DCN, OR REQUESTS INFORMATION THAT DCN MAY OFFER, END USER MUST AGREE TO THESE TERMS. AS SOLUTIONEERING UPDATES AND EXPANDS DCN SERVICES, THIS POLICY MIGHT CHANGE, SO PLEASE REVIEW IT FROM TIME TO TIME.
The Information SOLUTIONEERING Collects
SOLUTIONEERING may collect information about End Users through a variety of methods, such as through visits that End User may make to DCN, how End User uses DCN, any information that End User enter or files that End User upload which may include, but is not limited to, text, photos, video, graphics, music and sound.
Other Collected Information
SOLUTIONEERING also may collect certain non-personal information (i.e. generic information that does not identify End User personally) when End Users visit’s any of DCN’s Web pages such as the type of browser End User is using, the type of operating system End User is using, the Internet Protocol address End User is using to connect to DCN and the domain name of End User’s Internet service provider.
How SOLUTIONEERING Uses End User Personal Information
SOLUTIONEERING uses End User personal information to improve the functions and features of DCN to better help service-based businesses using DCN to generate more revenue.
Updating or Removing End User Personal Information
End Users have complete control of their personal information and may update or remove it on DCN at any time on their own.
How SOLUTIONEERING Shares End User Personal Information
SOLUTIONEERING will not share with third parties the personal information End User provides except (a) with End User’s consent; (b) as may be required by law or as SOLUTIONEERING thinks necessary to protect SOLUTIONEERING or others from injury [e.g. in response to a court order or subpoena, in response to a law enforcement agency request or when we believe that someone is causing (or about to cause) injury to or interference with the rights or property of another]; (c) with other persons, service providers or companies with whom SOLUTIONEERING contracts to carry out internal SOLUTIONEERING operations or SOLUTIONEERING business activities regarding www.digitalcustomernotification.com; and/or (d) notifying End User when SOLUTIONEERING makes material changes to this policy. If SOLUTIONEERING shares personal information with such aforementioned service providers or companies that are contracted with to carry out internal SOLUTIONEERING operations or SOLUTIONEERING business activities regarding www.digitalcustomernotification.com, to the extent practical, SOLUTIONEERING requires that they protect such information in a manner that is consistent with this policy. SOLUTIONEERING cannot, however, guarantee how these service providers or companies will use End User’s personal information. If End User still has any questions regarding End User’s personal information (e.g. access to, corrections to) please contact SOLUTIONEERING at email@example.com. To protect End User’s privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify End User’s identity before granting access or making corrections.
Use and Disclosure of Anonymous Information
SOLUTIONEERING sometimes use the non-personal information that SOLUTIONEERING collects to improve the design and content of DCN and to enable SOLUTIONEERING to personalize the End User’s Internet experience. SOLUTIONEERING also may use this information in the aggregate to analyze how DCN is used, as well as to offer End User products, programs, or services. Sometimes we share aggregate information with non-affiliated organizations.
Receipt of Communications; Opt-Out
If End User prefers not to receive marketing or promotional e-mails and/or promotional mail from SOLUTIONEERING that may relate, for example, to new services or offerings, End User may opt-out of receiving these communications by e-mailing SOLUTIONEERING at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include End User’s name, business name, street address, city, state/province, country, and postal code. Please note that SOLUTIONEERING may require up to forty-five (45) days to fully remove End User postal mail information from SOLUTIONEERING’s mailings. Following End User’s opt-out, please be aware that SOLUTIONEERING may continue to contact End User via e-mail or postal for administrative or informational purposes, including, but not limited to, follow-up messages regarding the administration of End User’s account, and collection of information by others.
As End User uses the Internet, a trail of electronic information is left at each web site End User visits. This information, which is sometimes referred to as “Clickstream Data,” can be collected and stored by a web site’s server. Clickstream Data can tell us the type of computer and browsing software End User uses and the address of the web site from which End User linked to DCN. We may use Clickstream Data as a form of non-personal information to anonymously determine how much time visitors spend on each page of DCN, how visitors navigate throughout DCN and how we may tailor our web pages to better meet the needs of visitors. This information will only be used to improve DCN. Any collection or use of Clickstream Data will be anonymous and aggregate.
From time to time SOLUTIONEERING may supplement information that End User has given to SOLUTIONEERING via DCN with information from other sources, such as information validating End User address. Thus, information SOLUTIONEERING obtains through DCN may be intermingled with and used in conjunction with information obtained through sources other than DCN, including both offline and online sources.
SOLUTIONEERING’s Commitment to Security
SOLUTIONEERING believes we have in place the appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and correctly use the information SOLUTIONEERING collects online via DCN. Whenever personal information is passed on to non-affiliated organizations, to the extent practical, SOLUTIONEERING requires that they also have in place the appropriate safeguards. SOLUTIONEERING cannot, however, guarantee that they do so.
How End User Can Access or Correct Their Personal Information
For instructions on how an End User can access the personal information that SOLUTIONEERING has collected about them online via DCN, or how to correct any errors in such information, please contact SOLUTIONEERING at email@example.com. Note: To protect End User privacy and security, SOLUTIONEERING will take reasonable steps to help verify End User identity before granting access or making corrections.
Changes to this Policy
Because SOLUTIONEERING’s business needs may change over time, SOLUTIONEERING reserves the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions from this policy at any time. If at any time in the future SOLUTIONEERING plans to use End User’s personal information in a way that differs from this policy, SOLUTIONEERING will revise this policy as appropriate. End User’s continued use of DCN following the posting of any changes to this policy means End User accepts such changes. This policy is effective as of 16 April 2017.
